perimeter protection systems, for applications where maximum reliability combined with
total environmental integration are required. Using a central control system it is
possible to create common integrated systems which offer unlimited combinations and
configurations. This allows the maximum flexibility in terms of customisation and
efficiency to be obtained for the security system. |

| DATA The microprocessor central
surveillance systems collect the alarm signals provided by the different types of
sensor,
creating a true security network. In this way it is possible to concentrate all the
signals from the perimeter protection system, from different types of
sensor, for either
local or remote reception. Together with the alarm signals it is also possible to send
images and sounds from television cameras and microphones associated with the
sensors. The
connection of the system to a LAN means that the normal limit of a single control system
can be exceeded, creating system of practically unlimited size.

systems allow the capture, memorisation and transmission of digital video images in real
time. "Motion detection" applications with automatic target tracking in external
and internal situations, coupled with a full range of video cameras,
