SNAKE™ uses a sensitive optical fibre capable of detecting intrusion attempts, such as cutting, climbing or breaching, on fences, walls or rooftops.
The light travelling through the optical fibre is continuously monitored and analysed using our advanced DSP technology, precisely distinguishing real events from environmental disturbances. Completely immune to electromagnetic interference, weather conditions and extreme environments, SNAKE™ provides reliable protection for both indoor and outdoor applications, even on complex or large-scale sites.

The SNAKE system, an innovative and patented perimeter intrusion detector, uses optophonic technology to ensure maximum security for your perimeter structures. Thanks to its optical fiber, the system can accurately identify intrusion attempts such as climbing, cutting or breaking through the fence. In indoor applications, SNAKE is also designed to detect attempts to breach or penetrate walls, offering comprehensive and reliable protection for your assets.

Easy to install on fences, walls or rooftops, SNAKE uses advanced optical fiber technology to effectively monitor every segment of your perimeter. Thanks to digital signal analysis, the system can recognize and categorize different types of intrusion, ensuring extremely reliable detection.
Additionally, its immunity to electromagnetic disturbances ensures optimal performance even in challenging environments, without requiring complex configurations.

SNAKE™ is a perimeter protection system based on fiber optic technology, designed for both outdoor and indoor applications.
Thanks to the optophonic principle, the system can detect all typical intrusion attempts on fencing structures, such as climbing, cutting, breaching or tampering, in outdoor installations. In indoor applications, SNAKE™ accurately identifies attempts to break through or perforate walls.
Fiber optic technology provides decisive advantages for protecting even very large perimeters:
- high detection accuracy, with sensitive and reliable signal analysis;
- long-distance coverage without the need for intermediate power supplies;
- complete immunity to electromagnetic interference, radio disturbances and atmospheric conditions;
- exceptional resistance in corrosive, flammable or high-temperature environments, as well as in other harsh conditions.
Thanks to these features, SNAKE™ is an ideal solution for industrial sites, critical infrastructures, and scenarios where continuous, stable and high-performance protection is essential.

sNAKE™ is available in Stand-Alone versions (single-channel, dual-channel and quad-channel), offering a maximum system coverage of 8,000 m (four 2,000-meter zones), and in Multiplex versions (dual-channel and quad-channel), providing up to 512 km of protection with a single perimeter control unit (MIND™). The system architecture supports the connection of up to 64 MIND™ units.

At the core of the SNAKE™ system is the optical fiber, inside which a laser beam is transmitted. Any mechanical stress applied to the fiber—whether due to an intrusion attempt or environmental variations—causes microscopic changes in the light path, generating measurable variations in the optical signal.

The DSP analyzer processes these changes by comparing the emitted and received signals and applying advanced signal-analysis algorithms. This enables the system to intelligently distinguish natural phenomena (wind, rain, hail and other recurring vibrations) from real intrusion attempts such as climbing, cutting or breaching.

During configuration, operators can simulate the events they wish to detect in order to optimize sensitivity parameters, minimize false alarms and tailor system behavior to the operational environment.

SNAKE™ can manage up to four independent zones, ensuring precise and flexible monitoring even on complex perimeters.
