Filled with antifreeze fluid and correctly pressurized, they ensure reliable operation even at low temperatures. Each crossing of the sensitive zone generates a pressure imbalance detected by a transducer: the signal is then processed by the analysis unit, which sends any alarms to the control center.
With Cross Technology, the DSP analyzer processes signals simultaneously from both ends of the sensitive zone, identifying with extreme precision the exact point of crossing. The system can also store and review the signals generated before and after each event, allowing detailed alarm analysis.
Each section can be individually calibrated to perfectly adapt to site characteristics and optimize sensitivity. The intelligent components of PPS™ are protected by a “watchdog” system ensuring automatic recovery in case of malfunction.
